    Who is to say that you are too old to play with your kid!  It’s a great workout.  If you get sweaty and dirty great!  That means your outdoors and that is so wonderful.  And it is setting a great example for your kid.  Find a great place to hike or play soccer.  Kids love being outside and it’s a lot more fulfilling and cheaper than an arcade.

If you live near the beach organize a few friends to go along with you so that you can take a surfing lesson while they play with your little one for an hour.  Don’t feel guilty, you need this time to be a more relaxed individual in society.  I have been surfing throughout my life and I can tell you its worth looking into.  And it strengthens and shapes your back and arms tremendously.  Roller blades are a little out of style but if you whiz around while pushing the running stroller your thighs, butt and entire body for that matter will tone up and your little one will love the excitement of it!

Marshal arts are fun because there are so many different types but they all strengthen and tone your body.  And they aren’t boring because you're constantly learning new techniques. Don’t give yourself excuses or cumbersome chores to do.  Give yourself priority at some point everyday!  Enjoy!!!                                                                    -Gabrielle
